Improvisation for All: Tuesdays from 7:15 to 8:15 PM, 3 weeks (March 17, 24, and 31) $37/session, $15/drop (plus PayPal fee when paying online)
Belly dance is authentically a solo improvised dance, but that doesn't mean that dancers don't "have a plan" for their performances! In this series, we will look at the pros and cons of choreography and improvisation, what authentic improvisation looks like, work through guided improvisation exercises, and develop a repertoire of "go-to" moves and sequences that will make your next improv opportunity all the more fulfilling!
Prereq: Some experience with belly dance is recommended.
