Musicality 101: Tuesdays from 6 to 7 PM, 4 weeks (March 4, 11, 18, and 25) $50/session, $15/drop (plus PayPal fee when paying online)
Understanding music is important for dancers of all levels! Whether you are brand new or well-versed in belly dance music, you'll get a lot from this series. Each week, we will focus on one song that is popular for belly dance and break down the musical elements, what we hear, and how to pick what to respond to as dancers. Then we will add on dance technique and steps that work well with that musical element.
Prereq: Some experience with belly dance is recommended.
