Welcome To KC Raqs!

The KC Raqs Studio aims to promote cultural awareness and cooperation through dance and music education. Furthermore, the studio is a gathering place and learning center for the greater Kansas City Belly Dance community.

Rahil, studio director, is a long time student of Middle Eastern Dance. She travels nationwide to increase her knowledge of these dances and brings them back to her students in Kansas City. Rahil teaches regular belly dance classes and workshops in the studio, and invites dance teachers of various world dance styles for featured instruction.
