American Vintage Style Belly Dance (231): Sundays from 5:45 to 6:45 PM, 6 weeks (November 6, 13, 20, 27, Dec 4, 11). $60/session, $12/single.
Learn the history of belly dance in the United States, important dancers to know, and each part of the "five-part AmCab Set". This style of dancing was dominant in the restaurant and club dancing in the U.S. in the 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond. Bring a veil and finger cymbals!
THIS CLASS IS AVAILABLE IN PERSON ONLY. There is a Zoom ticket option available for Tuesdays at 7:15 PM. Zoom class will be held pending sufficient enrollment.
PRE: Experience with finger cymbals and veils recommended, Level 2 or higher required.
