Combination Creation: Tuesdays from 7:15 to 8:15 PM, 4 weeks (June 2, 9, 23, and 30: NO CLASSES 6/16 due to Rahil's travel schedule) $50/session, $15/drop (plus PayPal fee when paying online)
One of the best tools for dancers and choreographers of all levels is the ability to create combinations. This skill can help you work through transitions, write better, more logical, choreographies, and can add spice to your home practice that will keep you inspired. In this series, you'll learn how to write combos based on the beat, the rhythm, and the phrasing of the music. Each week, you'll have "homework"--a prompt for which you will write a combination that you'll bring back and share with the class for feedback and trouble shooting.
While this class is offered on zoom, you'll get the best experience in person!
Prereq: Some experience with belly dance is recommended.
