Combos to Rhythms (Level 2+)

Combos to Rhythms (212): Tuesdays from 6 to 7 PM, 4 weeks (August 11, 18, 25, Sept 1) $50/session, $15/single class (plus PayPal fee if paying online)

Familiarity with commonly-used rhythms in belly dance music is essential for understanding, anticipating, and interpretting music. In turn, these skills help dancers create better choreographies and improvise! Not only will we drill rhythms to familiarize with their names and patterns, but we will create a fun combination that we can use to compare dancing to the time signature ('beat') and dancing to the rhythm (percussive pattern).
