Combos to the Melody (Level 2+)

Combos to the Melody (213): Sundays from 6:15 to 7:15 PM, 4 weeks (January 4, 11, 18, 25) $50/session, $15/single class (plus PayPal fee if paying online)

Familiarity with classic songs for belly dance music is essential as dancers progress on their journeys. During this class, we go beyond dancing to the time signature ("beat") and even the rhythm in order to express the melodic elements of the music. We will compare combos "to the beat" to our more specific combos, identify instruments, and determine how to interpret instruments in our dancing.

Prerequisites: Level 2 or higher is required. At least one series of Level 2 "Combos and Variations" is recommended.
