About the event
Dancing Through History (333): Sundays from 5 to 6 PM, 4 weeks (July 11, 18, 25, and August 1) $40/session, $12/single class (plus PayPal fee if paying online)
Look at the history of belly dance from the pre-1800s through the present. Examine the differences in costumes, music, and technique from the major branches of belly dance. This class will be approximately 50% lecture, 50% dance. I suggest bringing a notebook and lots of questions!
PRE: One session of 231 (Turkish Oriental Style), 232, and/or 233 is recommended.
