Dancing Through History (Level 3+)

Dancing Through History (333): Mondays from 7:15 to 8:15 PM, 4 weeks (June 3, 10, 17, and 24) $50/session, $15/single class (plus PayPal fee if paying online)

Look at the history of belly dance from the pre-1800s through the present. Examine the differences in costumes, music, and technique from the major branches of belly dance. This class will be approximately 50% lecture, 50% dance. I suggest bringing a notebook and lots of questions!

PRE: One session of 231 (Turkish Oriental Style), 232, and/or 233 is recommended.
