Fundamental Technique (101B): Mondays from 6 to 7 PM, 4 weeks (February 1, 8, 15, 22) $40/session, $12/drop (plus PayPal fee when paying online)
Perfect posture and essential isolations, adding basic layers of arms, steps, and shimmies. Each session will emphasize different technique based on participant skills, such as pelvic isolations, hand movements, shoulder shimmies, steps, interior and exterior circles, abdominal dexterity, chest flexibility. You’ll need this class to take Shimmy Technique (102), Travel Steps and Patterns (103), Arms and Hands (104), Beginner’s Combinations (111), Fundamental Veil (121), and Basic Finger Cymbals (122)...basically every other Level 1 class!
Prereq: Completion of Introduction to Belly Dance series or instructor approval.
