Instrumentation for Dancers: Tuesdays from 6 to 7 PM, 4 weeks (March 5, 12, 19, 26) $50/session, $15/drop (plus PayPal fee when paying online)

Knowledge and identification of instruments are important for dancers of all levels! Whether you are brand new or well-versed in belly dance music, you'll get a lot from this series. Each week, we will focus on a small handful of instruments, listening to each instrument and discussing where it is frequently heard. Then, we will add on dance technique and concepts to interpret each instrument. Many of the skills taught in this class will also be helpful with improvisation, and, of course, teach you valuable cultural information and context.

Prereq: Some experience with belly dance is recommended.
