July Co-op Hafla

Welcome to the first co-op hafla! Doors will open at 5 PM with dancing starting at 5:30. This is a great chance to show your skills, socialize with friends, and help fundraise for the studio. This event is a little different from other community shows and haflas (because it is "cooperative"), so please read the following information carefully.

What is a "Co-op" Hafla? Simply put, this is a way for dancers to have more performance opportunites while supporting the studio. It is different from typical haflas because the work of promoting and selling tickets will be shared between the performers and the producer (Rahil). This ensures a successful event, which in turn ensures that more haflas and performance opportunities will happen!

Performers: you'll be asked to purchase a performer space, costing $20. After your registration, you'll recieve a google form for your performance information. Your performance can be as casual or formal as you want. With the price of your space, you get:

• one performance spot, up to 5 minutes in length.
• one audience ticket for your guest. Need more than one guest ticket? No problem, there will be an option for them to purchase tickets once the line-up is finalized (see spectator info below)!
• a convenient tripod set-up so it is easy for you to record your performance on your own device.

Spectators: Once the line-up of performers is finalized, there will be additional audience tickets available for purchase. The studio is not large, so our seats will be VERY LIMITED!
