KC Raqs! 2024 is proud to present another stellar weekend of workshops! With a full three days of workshops, this is your chance to take your dancing to the next level!!! As spaces are limited in all workshops, please be aware that this event may sell out. A la carte workshop registration will be made available early in the summer if space remains. Payment plans are available. Please note that payment plans must be completed by July 1st, when early registration ends.

Weekend Schedule:

Friday: All Golden Era, All Day

11:30: Doors open to participants

12-4:30: Golden Era Intensive (30 minute break halfway through)

6 PM: Doors Open for Opening Gala

6:30: Opening Gala Begins

Saturday:

9:30: Doors open for shopping with Neenee's Imports

10-12: Technique

12-1:30: Lunch break (and shopping)

1:30-3:30: Combos (doors close for show set-up at 4 PM)

6:00: Doors open for shopping/show

7:00: Saturday Showcase of Stars

Sunday:

12-2 PM: Tarab

MASTER CLASSES: Friday afternoon classes are geared to the advanced and professional dancers and will take you to the next level! Sunday class is also a master class, so get ready to be challenged!

-Performance opportunities: 

• There are two shows at KC Raqs: the Friday Opening Gala and the Saturday Showcase of Stars. If you are interested in performing at KC Raqs, please indicate your interest when you register for the workshops. You will be provided a information form via email. Performance spaces are very limited and cannot be guaranteed. 
• The Saturday night show is invitation-based for regional and visiting professional dancers and troupes. In March, invitations will go out for Saturday night performers. 
• The Friday night gala will be curated to include a variety of skills and styles. The first group of selections will be made in the spring, based on the information you provide on the performer information form. (This means that if you want to be considered for a spot, you should register early in the year.)
• Please note that registration for workshops is required for ALL performers. The show lists will be announced once finalized. Performers do not need to purchase a ticket for the show in which they are performing. If you purchase a "package" that includes a show ticket, you can pass it on to a friend or family member.
