Level 1 Essentials: Think of this as your "Level 1 Study Guide"! Whether you are an experienced dancer who wants to better understand the foundations of belly dance or a newer dancer who just wants to start off on the right foot, this series will get you there. Dancers will find especially helpful the "skills assessment" portion of this series, in which you'll get feedback on where to focus your practice efforts. We will use planes of motion in order to improve technique, drill my "must-know belly dance moves", and review some of the other cultural and musical elements that I want my Level 1 dancers to understand before graduating to Level 2. If you are passionate about improving your skills, this series will help you troubleshoot and practice, no matter your experience level!
