May Workshop: Golden Era Vibes

One of the most popular time periods in belly dance history, the Golden Era is more than just a little stylization--it was formative in the development of belly dance as we know it! During this workshop, you'll learn three typical vignettes seen in performances of this era, you'll meet the stars of the time and learn their signature moves, and you'll gain an understanding of why this time period was so unique and important.

This workshop will meet from 2 to 4 PM on Saturday, May 10th (World Belly Dance Day). Some dance experience is recommended, as we'll be assuming a basic grasp on fundamental belly dance technique.

We will likely go out for a group dinner after the workshop. Details to come!
