Traditional Dance Tuesdays: Iskandarani (Alexandrian) with Melaya; 8 weeks: Sept 23, October 7, 14, 21, Nov 4, 11, 18, 25 (no classes on 9/30 or 10/28--November dates are tentative but Rahil will offer partial refunds if a class needs to be cancelled); $100/series (plus Paypal fee when paying online), no drop-ins, payment plan allowed.
Available in-person and on Zoom, but you must attend in-person if you want to perform the choreography at the Holiday Hafla.
Learn the technical and cultural context of Iskandarani dance, then learn a choreography to perform at the Holiday Hafla. Series will be part lecture, part movement during the first four weeks, then the series will focus on choreography. Recommended for Level 2 or 3 dancers, or more experienced Level 1 dancers (no brand new dancers, please). Message Rahil if you have questions!
