About the event
Turkish Oriental Style (233): Tuesdays from 7:15 to 8:15 PM, 4 weeks (February 2, 9, 16, 23) $40/session, $12/single
Learn the history, unique movement vocabulary, famous dancers, prop use, musicality, and combinations in the Turkish style. This class is highly recommended for Level 3 dancers who have not had training in Turkish style. This is the first time I’m teaching Turkish style, and it probably won’t pop up again on the calendar for a couple of YEARS! Plus, it is a “recommended prerequisite” for Sunday Level 3 students who want to take “Dancing Through History” in June.
PRE: At least one session of 211, 212, OR 213 or instructor approval
